Description

This is a non digital image. The photograph has been taken in the year 2001 with an Asahi Pentax. The orange color is caused by the late December sun at the end of a day. The photograph shows the Plompe Toren which means something like 'vast tower'. It is a medieval tower, in fact part of a church that disappeared completely after a great storm (about the year 1500) during which many villages were overflooded by the sea. The church was the middle of a little village called Koudekerke, that also was swept away by water. The village was never rebuilt again. BTW: Due to 'problems with time management' I am forced to slow down a bit. I will try to add a picture every day but maybe you will find my comments missing. Sorry about that.. I will be back when I have more time.

I like the image. The way it is set in there. Might have worked the smudge in the sky a bit,but as you say time is of the essence here. No worries,we'll be here.

Beautifully bathed in warm sunlight! Perfect light that complements the scene well, lovely compo. The grass softens the man made element. Harmonious =)
