Strange beauty. Incredible detail on the proboscis. This view makes me forget how delicate and fragile they are. Amazing what a change of perspective will do. Beautiful shot.

This has to be the best "I'm back" photo ever!! I cant believe how close this is, very alien like! Stunning macro work, and love the angle, perfect DOF as well. Perfectly captured =)

Uhhh...Not sure what to say.Jealous comes to mind.I think the only way I could get this close a shot is to freeze it get my 20 seconds for some shots,then it would fly away. Hope a daily post is in order for you now your back up.
