Description

For once I played the turist in my own city. I never go around to see the beauties that Rome offers but I thought... you know... there's lots of people that are willing to pay to visit my place and I never do that! So here it is the first of this new serie. Here you might see the circus maximus (where romans used to race charriots and play other games such as (so they say) when they flooded the arena to make naval battles. Over that, on the Palatine hill, there are the imperial palaces where many emperors had their residences, at least until Nerone decided to move his home to the Colle Oppio, and he built the Domus Aurea (well I think he had it built for him) :) ok, history lesson finished... ;) now you can take a look at this 5-stitched-shots. Let me know if you like it! :)

Thank you so much for taking me on on your walk. I will pay to see your city, to see the Senate and St. Peter's and the glory that is Rome forever. I am too much an artist to not need to see Rome and Florence. And i love history too much to live a life without ever seeing it with my own eyes. The Circus Maximus they say had channels of running water throughout, which served among other things to cool the corridors.
