A big hello to you all!!! Yes, I'm finally back (not like many of you even noticed my absence)...But for my few good friends here who actually took the time to write, thankyou very much *big hugs*. This photo is for the special people who know how to cheer someone up.
*end of ranting*
This photo is what I think a visualisation of friendship, and I believe that everyone at Rendo knows just how important a friend is. This was taken August 2004. Hope this brightens even the darkest wintery day!! =)

this image is just exquisite and touching!! i particularly love how i see some flowers with their little heads leaning on each other just enjoying each other's company! Having friends around to cheer us up is soooo important, as is being affirmed by them. I disagree with Pimbotin's words. IMO, A friend is a friend regardless of whether that friend is someone half-way around the world that you've never met or if that friend is someone in your neighborhood. I'm old enough (41) to have experienced "virtual" friends the old-fashioned way--pen pals. I had deep and satisfying friendships with kids around the world. sometimes i remember waiting a month or two for a letter...and boy were those letters long. i lost a remarkable friend when i was 16. His name was Kyeong Nam, and he was from Korea. I still have his pictures. I've lost his letters but the spirit of that sensitive soul still lives in my heart. He died as a result of war. he was just a teeny-bopper like me. Anyway, I'm glad that you are someone who cherishes friendships, and i believe the ability to reach out and touch someone in person or through words and pictures, certainly does not lessen the value and importance of that friendship. thanks for such a touching and soulful image! vote/favs!
