Further down the coast from Maku'u on Martin Luther King day I found Lookout Rock (that's what I call it). I gave it that name not for the view from there, but if you stand there you better "Look Out!!". This was taken on a small day...1 to 3 ft. waves.....I gotta come back when it's 6 to 8 ft. I bet I won't be able to get this close then...or want to. Thanks for all the nice comments on my last post, and Aloha to ya'll.

Yeah I was watching some of the surfing that was at Maui (I think) and those waves were SCARY...I think surfers are very brave (or stupid) people lol. For a small wave, this is still impressive. Perfect stillness on the splash. Amazingly well-timed capture =)

Impressive wave on this volcanic rocks : I love the contrast of the colours between the brownish rocks, the wihte wave and th blue of the see and thesky : beautiful!!!
