As seen from the Mississippi River Bridge ("Ford Bridge"), whose sidewalks give good vantage all across on both sides - this repeats the same angle in my 'Mississippi Gorge ~ Fall' picture. The dots are tops of marker bouys - in Western River navigation, green 'can' bouys mark the port banks of channels going upstream ~ and red 'nun' bouys mark the starboard sides going upstream, none of the bouys in this section of the gorge have the usually expected numbers on them; they'll always be in the same place in certain shots in all seasons ... I guess the portion of exposed bouy is half or more as high as a tall human.
