Sweet! This is a great scene, but I tend to agree that the characters do not look right. May I suggest shadows and see if that helps with the floating look? Wonderful image in every way.

Very nice. I like the central building and the sky is cool too. I think the figures floating problem isn't a problem, I'm guessing you put rendered them in the scene and they are on the floor, so it's just an illusion of the street light that makes them seem to float.
