Mordarie knelt before her Lord Father in the center of his great audience chamber. The darkness concealed her features from normal eyes but all who stood in the room could see how revoltingly ugly she was. 'As hideous as her counterpart was beautiful' or so the saying went. Her muscles quivered slightly as one of the 'wraiths passed through her. Still the woman knelt with one fist on the floor and the other behind her back. Her gray eyes remained fixed on the floor and she waited. Mordarie was used to waiting. She was supposed to have been a son. She was supposed to have been a lot of things, really. None of her Lord Father's orcs would follow a female; such was a part of their shattering. She could not lead them, nor could she follow for none of them would tolerate her presence. Even the evil men who served Lord Sauron could not serve with her; their constant quailing when they caught sight of her face irritated her too much. She defined 'useless in groups'. The burning gaze of her Lord Father heated her back. She looked up slowly, her eyes glowing red in the reflected light. No communion passed betweeen the two of them; the 'wraiths were far more connected to him than she was. --- This is Mordarie, and she is the Half-Orc. Once upon a time, I got tired of all the daughters of Sauron floating around, and carefully sat down and created my own Daughter-of-Sauron!Sue. Like some Sues, she's a formidable warrior. On the other hand, she's ugly as sin, an orc hybrid, and generally bad-tempered. Orcs refuse to work with her, she gets irritated by the way humans always cringe when they see her, and Lord Sauron wanted a son, anyways. Dear old dad is constantly sending her on transparent attempts to kill her, but she keeps coming back.
