This is a great shot of a sun pillar!... this is a very rare and spectacular Occurrence that is caused when sunlight is reflected both internally and externally off of (Star Snow Crystals) in the lower-level clouds. People can go their entire life, and never see anything like this in person. I got a special opportunity to see my first one on January 11. I was glad I had a camera and happy to share it here on the Renderosity web site.
