Description

This photograph has been converted from a photoslide I took back in 1988. In that year we visited the Provence, in particular the region called Vaucluse, for the first (and not the last) time. The fist day we stayed in Fountain de Vaucluse but as we didn't feel quite comfortable there, we went through. And then we found this little village, built on a hill..it's called Gordes and we immediatelly fell in love with this tiny city. We soon discovered the very beautiful area of Gordes (for instance the Abbeye de Senanque) Our vacation in 1988 was one of the best we ever had.

This is an amazing view! I've always marvelled at how those houses are built on the edge of a cliff! A very beautiful town, lovely colours =)
