Valerio Viano born in Caracas (Venezuela) in 1972. Now living in Madrid, but soon will change to Lloret de Mar (Girona) as we always loved the sea.BIOI beginned as soon as possible. My father was a graphic designer and illustrator so it was easy to follow his steps. Began working seriously back in 1988 in some advertisement agencies (Tandem DDB mainly). Then went to my fathers studio for a short time as fathers and sons don't work well together:) Moved to a sport newspaper for some graphic issues and stayed there for 4 years, moved again to a studio and worked for Twentieth Century film press books and gained recognition with the Episode I Press book. Now working in my own studio (home studio) doing mainly book covers and illustration.

When I think of a sleeping cat I wouldnt think of this posture but thats just me. He looks more like a dead cat but the story is unique :D

Greetings! I've seen both versions of this and I want to chime in on this one. The non-DOF version is excellent and well detailed and much better for those who like the absoluet realisim, But... I like ART and this one has a much more artistic nature to it to me. I like the way the DOF brings you right into the foreground, into the middle of what's really going on. The real question is, which one do YOU like. That, after all, is the true measure of any work of art. As for the cat, sleeping cats often do look dead, so don't fret about it. Hey, it fooled the rat, didn't it? :-).
