Description

This is the first frame of an animation I am trying to do. I need to find/make a shadowy horseman now to create a dramatic scene. There's 144 Objects in this scene, takes about 20 mins to render in Superior quality. Animation will just follow a rider along the path along under the trees and through swirling mist till he gets to the ruin. Credits to Rodluc for the ruined Abbey in the background, I played around and altered a few things for this scene. Mushrooms by zxcvb. Texture work on the trees took a long time to produce. I think the ankle-high mist and mossy dead tress adds a marshy type feel, which is really what I wanted. Comments/critism welcome.

I love the trees. Maybe the story could take place at some misty night?

You should use this for a future Sleepy Hollow Scene for this upcoming Halloween;-)

This looks pretty good - are you doing this video size/frame rate or for web? If you can get away with it render time-wise a few small puddles would be appropriate to the scene.

Thanks for the comments, Yes I am going for the Sleepy Hollow type scene. The animation is pretty good so far :-the camera heads down the path towards to ruin, it certainly makes me think a whole lot more about how to do future Vue scenes especially tree/plant placement and attention to detail.
