It's been some time I wanted to do portraits in XD. This is the first one, the model is Lieselot IJsendoorn, a brilliant Dutch media-artist and a very close friend. You can explore her work at

I'm beginning to feel guilty about not having the time to comment or even visit the fractal gallery. I don't like one way streets ... But the good news is that we will have a new driver at the animalshelter by the end of the month. Then I can resume my normal work rhythm and will be able again to follow all of your works. I like the manner in which the grid layers are placed on top of each other and all at different angles relative to each other . They form an interesting and firm foundation to the wonderful portrait ! Excellent work , Dirk !
