Description
After the storm the sun finally comes out.
The wind continues to blow, causing snow to fall
from the branches above in a never ending
shower. Despite the light and beauty it is
still a dark and depressing winter day.
Thanks for viewing!

After it snows for about the 4th time, I start to feel like you! Lol! So pretty but wish the Sun would stay out and Spring would come! But can't appreciate the Spring as much without the Winter. And so it goes! This photo is awesome Jack! It is almost therapeutic as the melting of the snow cleanses the soul! :) V

Wow! Jack, what an ominous pic. Dark and forbidding and yet very intriguing. I have been offline for awhile and will have to check out the rest of your recent posts later. I have sooo missed seeing your work.

Deep woods. As my son said as a boy looking out the window of a 747 in flight. "Dad, it's deep out there."

A great capture. In our area, the county roads are always a muddy slippery mess when it starts to thaw. Then at night it freezes again and we have ice to contend with.

The thing I like abt snow in the woods is that the sounds are muffled and makes me feel as if I'm in another world. The high-contrast technique gives the impression of a stark and frigid atmosphere. The snow shower is what really sets this image apart from many other renderosity snow scenes I've seen this winter season! []/;^)

Cool pic!
