Another illustration from my upcoming book, GUTSHOT. Since this was early in the project (from Section 1, as you can see) I had time to actually integrate the illustration over the page border. The borders are used to indicate the Section of the book (13 in all -- heh, I ain't afeard o' no bad luck!) so the readers can easily find the information they're looking for. As usual, the illustration will actually print in b&w, but that doesn't look good online so I added a simple brown tint for ya'll. The figure is Michael 1 by DAZ, using the PoserWorld cowboy body morph by Steve Shanks. The fence, gun, and gunbelt are DAZ freebies (fence from the free barn). I believe the wheel and hay bale are RDNA, but I don't have my notes handy to check for certain. The hay bale had very stright edges, so I used the Liquify filter in PS7 to add some irregularity. And, of course, everything was composited in PS7. By the way, the book is at the printers and will be released on Feb. 4. I gotta admit, I'm as nervous as an expectant father. Info at: www.gutshot.net
