I found Renderosity late on in 2003 and have since become an avid viewer of the tremendous talent on display. My contribution is just pictures I've drawn, daft sketches, favorite photos (mostly of landscapes and mountain days out) and comments and laughs with other members. Thanks to all at Renderosity and to people who contribute some amazing images and ideas.

Well... unless you have really good wireless you made it back safe. Beautiful view and photo:}

You know something? I would do the same if I would want to get away from the city: I would go somewhere by myself and I would leave my mobile at home! But, of course, a little wisdom would push us to not go there by ourselves! :)

Even for the sake of such uplifting shots as this, please do not take unnecessary risks, Angus. At least at the top of it you might miss the avalanche caused by your yodelling! I envy you being able to reach such vantage points. With my health and 'knackered' body, I would find it life-threatening just to get there... Regards, John.

There would not be much left when they found you next summer :o( Great shot, but more planning is in order for the future so we don't loose you...

No mater what rules there are someone (in this case you) will bend or break them. Last year whilst up the moderate in comparison Pentlands, I met an Old man that must have been at least 70, who confessed to me that he had done all the Monroes solo, some several times and many lesser hills, fallen off 2 ridges and broken his back once, yet he still put me to shame physically, I walked with him for a while but could not keep up! He said that he had retired from bagging 15 years ago, yet still as fit as a fiddle. One of the most fascinating people I have ever met. Wonderful shot excellent visibility and depth, lucky, brave and maybe a little crazy, but fun is fun however you find it.

And what a wonderful sight too! So glad you made it down to upload this, but DON'T DO IT AGAIN....not on your own and certainly not without a mobile! Thanks for sharing this magnificent view!

I bow to your bravery...It's pics and stories like this that push the limits of photography. When I am out and about and thinking about doing something reckless, this type of image comes to mind. I think to myself, geez if he can do it alone what do I have to fear? And I push on...Thanks for sharing an impressive image here...I would be proud to have taken this beauty! V add to faves

There's the adrenalin rush aangus (supplied direct to you by British Telecom). It is worth it!... you are almost an 'extreme sportsman' Gus... take a bow... top research and bold shooting. National Geographic eat yer heart out!

We also drive on the streets in rush hour traffic. I prefer this. Beautiful shot.
