Description

Probably a bit of a misnomer, but some of you are surely aware by now how I feel about titling my images :) I have often thought this image reminds me of an aerial view of another world, where the land masses are all jagged edges and the waters are calm, but swirly. Shoals and Reefs of Aplesst it should be called, or something like that. Anyway, hope I didn't completely destroy the point of making/posting an *abstract* by giving you ~my~ interpretation. Thanks for stopping by. Please, allow me take your coat in good faith and hospitality, and take your comments and criticisms in humility and eagerness to learn!

wonderful colors and shapes. I love how you can see thru those rich but watery translucent blues. Wonderful

Great abstract, this really appeals to me. :) I like the outlines shapes and beautiful colour palette, but extra nice is addition of the embossed like texturing in some areas of the image, in particular the bottom right corner. Nice work!

I totally agree with Lulu. Wonderful work. I'm wondering what program you used.

No need to wait humbly for criticism here, not from me anyway: this is great! Beautiful colours and nice black edging. Like Jacqueline says, the embossed texturing is very nice; maybe a little more of it elsewhere would be good?

I love how the image seems to be composed of layers. The dark outlines really set it apart!

Excellent - very nice work! It definitely has a topographical 'flavor' so I like your title just fine.

Stefan, a very nice compositon. The colors are complementary, and they give a nice peaceful feel, yet the image contains enough different shapes and textures to hold one's interest. No wonder it is one of your favorites - thanks for sharing.

Very cool image, Stefan! And I like your interpretation, but I see an aerial view of a small town through the clouds -- trees, parks, streets!
