The splashes around the whale are fantastic. But is that white thing above the whales head?...Anyway, that aside...Well done:)

Nice pic Joe...izzit o k if I stay in Space...LOL..is that white flash spouting from the whale or a harpoon strike[my first bloodthirsty thought]?

Thanks for your kind comments. That is supposed to be the blow of air that the whale expels when it surfaces. It might not be transparent enough, but I just inserted it from the program disks without worrying too much about authenticity. Yes Linda, we do see some whales in the caribbean, as a matter of fact there was a very thriving whaling industry on St. vincent until recently.
