Very nice scene and thank you for the break from all the boobs that have been dominating the Poser Gallery of late. I like girly art too, but a little variety is welcome! This is a very good start for a scene youve got the setup done nicely and it tells the story well. I also like the grainy look which really evokes a sense of sand and grit. However, the figures look a little stiff to me. Also, the angle and simple blue sky dont help convey any sense of urgency to their actions (maybe some distant explosions or a second helicopter?). If you moved the camera a little to the left to give us a low, three-quarters view of the scene, that would help show more of their bodies and shift emphasis off that guys butt and onto the Black Hawk. Hmmm, perhaps the scene would be more urgent if the missile launcher were pointing up already? Or at least slightly raised (and not pointing at his buddy). Finally, consider adding some irregularity to the horizon a non-straight line will create better contrast with the straight lines of the wall (which I really like). Man, sounds like Im really ripping this up, but Im not! I swear, I only write this much about work that is really promising and that I would like more of! Thanks again for the break from the usual fare.

Thanks for the suggestions, I totally agree. The render was really just an excuse to play with displacement maps and postwork. I suppose it's kind of a WIP. I never took too much time over the composition, and as a result, I'm not happy with the poses. I'll be creating my own poses for the next render, instead of using default DAZ soldier poses. I intend to take this idea further now that I know someone's interested in something other than boobs. Thanks again for the comments.

Good work. About the scene itself: Why the hell are two US soldiers hiding from an american helicopter and why do they have a vietnam era M16 and a russian rpg-7? :D

Haha, there wasn't much choice for military props, those are the only ones I have.

Like VOID said are they hiding from the Black Hawk or are they going to shoot it down with the RPG? Which would make no sense, because these dudes look American soldiers, and the Blackhawk is an American Helicopter.
