I have taken this shot in August 2004, in the Vercors, a part of the French Alps located south of Grenoble (France). We have had a hike starting at La-Chapelle-en-Vercors, and ending, at his higher point (half way of where our car was parked!!), to a place called

The bare rock on the cliff face is like a ribbon! How amazing. You have a lovely viewpoint, really shows of the magnificence of the location. Excellent sharpness and beautifully composed =)

Ce promontoire est radieux, Chantal,je me rend compte quel point sont relatifs l'infiniment grand et l'infiniment petit lorsque mes yeux se fondent en cette perspective merveilleuse! Nous sommes aussi des falaises pour le microcosme, mais sommes nous aussi beaux que cette frie ? Fantastique, ma che amie, et cela force vraiment l'humilit......VV.........Gros bisous, Guillaume.
