Description

Z89's fall from grace --------------------- Created: 24-25th of January 2005 Created with: Poser 4.03, Photoshop ======================== About: ------ The image of the robot is taken from a WIP I was working on last year and have yet to get back to but I thought I'd use a render of it as a test of a Photoshop action. At one point I was going to title this, "America's love-hate relationship with the seatbelt" but all that onscreen text was just too distracting. - Still, it kinda suits the image as if the robot was a crash-test dummy or something and would do well for a magazine article perhaps. ;-) This simple project started out merely to test a Photoshop action I was working on yesterday. The action helps me greatly to create a 'cut out' from a POSER render that I can then use in Photoshop on different layers. When I load a POSER render as a .TIF file (it has an alpha channel in it) into a Photoshop, I have to go through a repetitive and somewhat tedious process everytime so I thought why not automate it and make it an action? Now just after 3 clicks (and two of those are just ok's to action dialogs that I put in) a twiddle with a slider, and then the job is done that used to take me a couple/few fiddly minutes before without the action.
