Description

Beinn Bheula rising up from the village of Lochgoilhead does not quite make it to "Munro" status being 2556 feet high, its classed a "Corbett" (hills between 2500 and 3000 feet). It doesn't end there. When the Munros are all done, then the Corbetts, theres the Grahams and the Marilyns waiting to be ticked off.

A fantastic landscape! IMHO there are two areas in the image I'm not sure of... some postwork to darken those areas? Anyway a wonderful view!

Agree with Akinom. I love the lighting on the snowy parts.

Would be nice to see the middle range but this is an absolutely wonderful view... must be a top camera... btw Do two Marilyns equal one Dolly?...

OK OK OK I'll repost it...sorry... I guess I got caught messing about. I wanted better definition of the hills at the back, so I increased the contrast, which blacked out the forest in the mid ground. I selected the midground and lightened it a bit to bring out some highlights. A bit too much by the looks of things...Hmpht

a fantastic and beautiful scene in perfect conditions! guess it takes a life time to get everywhere in Scotland! ;o) I like Oban much more than Fort William, most of the time shopping there!
