But maybe the frame takes away the eyes from the image too much? Have posted two different versions to the Forum here If you like tell me your opinions, please. tfv&c Thanks for your kind comments, rankings and even votes on my previous posting even on the greyest day... I really appreciate all of them very much! Hugz Monika -----www.rowografics.de----- -----www.photo-genesis.net-----

Prefer the first one! The second frame draws the attention from the image away. Just my 2 cents. Lovely shot!

I like the frame, it makes the outside fade, like this kinda wehter does, so, its inline with the image :)

As I've said in your forum (a few seconds ago), I love the fourth one and I will save it and try to reproduce it for my one of next posts. Great work!

I love what you've done with the image Monika ~ I don't think the frame detracts from it because it is a continuation of the image and captures the chilly bleakness. Bravo!

I think this frame is perfect for this shot, Moni. I might make it just a tad 'slimmer' but other than that it's wonderful! Bravo!!!

I don't think the frame is too big, in fact I think it narrows your sight to see the photo itself much better. But that's my opinion! Another great winter-mood photo! Mhak, Tjeerd.

Hello Monika : I must say I love this framing, in harmony with cold and the mist of this gray day and of the winter scenery :)) It's like a window covered with frost or steam, from wich we can admire the view :)) Very strong winter atmosphere produced by your shot :)) Love it!!

hey Moni, a very impressive capture of a beautiful scene with a fantastic framing! it's true, that the frame takes the eye away a little! but without the frame the image looks a little lost and dead! the frame gives it an interesting and cool touch! ich find's klasse gemacht, geflt mir sehr! ;o)))))

I rather like this one and don't really look at it separately as picture and frame, rather as a single composition of complementing pieces.

The framing suits the picture very well IMHO, the pale frame makes me feel the chilling cold on this snow-covered place! Brrrr! :) Excellent work, Monika!
