Description

Have you ever looked in the mirror and not know who was looking back? You stair at that face that is stairing back at you. If you smile she would smile. If you cry she weould cry. But who is she and what does she want? Is that women soppose to be me? Is that how you see me? I know that I am under the ground right now, not sure if I want to come out. Feeling scared and unsure. It is just not my time yet. I just have to wait. But for how long, will it ever be my time? So I stick my head out of the ground just a little bit, unsure if this is the right time. But it's too late now, I cannot go back, I have to see what is out there. You do not know where it comes from or how it happens but you feel a little stronger, a little bolder. You start to feel that unconditional love, and support. A pair of hands that is taking care of you. And for the first time you feel safe. You actually feel safe. So you rise yourself up a little more and take in the air, and the things around you. You discover that there is such things as love, peace, acceptance, and trust. It is not all loneliness and darkness and bad. You may have a cloudy day, or a rainy day and things are not so bright but that just makes you a little stronger for the next cloudy day. And without you even knowing it, you realize that you have come full bloom. A beautiful flower all of your own. You have growen in strength inside and out. And you want to be seen, you want to be heard, you want to be noticed. You may be a flower that was put in the middle of no where, or in the middle of broken tree's and weeds. But right in the middle of all that, there you are. This beautiful flower. There is where you were ment to be, to bring a little beauty to a place that might have just been over looked and passed by. You are there to be seen and enjoyed. You are there to let everyone know that there can be love, and beauty in a place that you might not think there would be. So that women that was looking back at you in the mirror, yes, it was you all along. But you had to discover for yourself the beauty that you had inside of you before you could shair it with the rest of the world. You had to discover your true self, and when you did that, you let yourself bloom into this beautiful flower that is like no other.l

Sometimes I would wish to see the mirror lying...

The mental image I have of me does not match the image I see in the mirror. If I could I would break all the mirrors in the world. As women we tend to let our looks hold us back. I'm sure most women find fault with one aspect or another of their looks as do I, but I've long since stopped looking in the mirror and wished for something more beautiful and desirable. The reflection I see pales in comparison to the woman and person I am. The image does not speak of my strength, my passion or heart. So look in the mirror but remember beauty is only skin deep...do not judge yourself by physical attributes alone...you are more than the sum of your looks.
