Description

Hi, and thanks for stopping in. All comments and critiques are welcome! So it's been a while since I revisited this image. I had been mulling over how to make the sky seem more integrated. This solution works for me, and so it is now complete. I don't really know why I spent so much time on an image that I don't really know what it means for me. After looking at it, I think it has to do with parallel universes being sucked into a light for further refinement. Eh, but then again maybe that's just artist lingo :) Enjoy, and thank you once again for looking. Scene modeled in 3DStudioMax 6, sky rendered in Terragen. Rendered with finalRender Stage-1.

This brought back memories of a moment during an acid trip I took almost 40 years ago. I was sitting in the back of a moving station wagon looking backwards & it seemed to me that the road was being sucked towards the horizon & that we were driving as fast as we could to escape. A well composed image that makes the most of a few simple elements - & time spent on artwork is never wasted. Thanks for the flashback...
