After a break I be back on Renderosity to show new captures in my gallery.
I live in Germany in a city what I hate. So I use every possibility to get into nature in which I love to hike and capture landscapes and nature moods.
Mostly I visited Scotland, Norway, Swizzerland and Faroer Islands and I try to bring you close to the special charme of each country.
Hope we see us in the galleries and think around corners 😉

Great panoramic shot of Oban, Rita. Several years ago I took my son there for a week. The weather was fair, sunny, and no 'midges' or mosquitos, which are normally a plague on visitors. We walked around the town, and went on two boat trips to the island of Mull , and one to Iona ( where the Scottish kings are buried ). On one trip we stopped next to a seal colony ( on the far side of the island which guards Oban ). My son then told me he had rowed out with friends on kayacks two years earlier on a school trip, and rowed right up to the seals! I was envious! I am sure that you saw and captured many shots. Thanks for this one. It brought back memories. Regards, John.

It makes me nostalgic to look at this beautiful view of Oban, even under the rain. Oban is for me the door to Mull, and my memories there are quite vivid and full of hiking, sunny moorland (yes!!!)and the multitude of islets and gorse flowers....I'll stop the list before you get bored :-)
