Description

This image is dedicated to Nilla aka Brenda. Last year when India was celeberating the 55th Republic Day of the country and the official buildings were being illuminated with lights in the evenings, I had no clue how to capture it in it's glory. My friend Nilla aka Brenda gave me some very fine tips on how best to capture the lights. I couldn't do much last year, it was too late by then but I remembered her lesson and this is the result. Thanks Nilla for your tuts...... it really helped a great deal. By the way......India celeberated it's 56th Republic Day on 26th January, 2005. The building you see illuminated are South Block on the left and North Block (where I work) on the right and Rastrapati Bhavan (The presidential Palace) in the mid centre... Not fully visible as this picture has been shot from down the Raisana Hills. All the 3 buildings are on a high Rise hill sorta. So that explains the black road structure in the bottom of the pic. :O)) SNAKEY

Impressive night-capture of these joyful lights! It shows the outlines of the buildings in such a beautiful way! Splendid shot, Raj!
