...This is a very strong piece, Norman ! --- I have sometimes heard it expressed , by some, that there are just too many movies about the holocaust--( that somehow we've already gotten the message ) -- well TOO many people in this world HAVEN'T got the message ! -- and if we forget the past we will be condemned to repeat it! ---- thanks for posting this.

great tribute and I really want that it will never happenned . I'm living in the South of The France near a little place called ouradour sur glane were all the citizens have been burned in their home and churches by the SS without any reasons .That is another representation from the stupidity of war. France as also been apart from this genocide with the collacoration of the Vichy governerment and so i feel a little shame. My grandfather has been caught by the French police (Gestapo) in 1941 and send in Poland in a camp . Hope it will never happened

Thank you Normy for this dedication... it's indeed something that must never be forgotten, I'm sorry your parents had to go through that but so glad they survived. You're a good bloke Normy, thank you for sharing this evocative piece.

Excellent work! My father was in the 42nd Rainbow Division of the U. S. Army which was one the the ones which liberated Dachau at the end of the war. He took many pictures of this event, and which I have posted on his Web site dedicated to his memory ... mickeymartins.com ... may we never forget. Pictures are 1,000s times better than words.

So very powerful and painfully beautiful. Absolutely superb. This needs to be seen by a much broader audience. I seriously hope you would consider making an effort in that direction.

When we create art which comes from the soul, to me, it is holy because it is a result of the gifts/talents we have been given by our creator. When we dedicate our works to a cause as noble as this one. We join our creative voices in a chorus that sings the light of our humanity and hopefully, chases away the darkness that sometimes surrounds us. Peace to you and yours my friend! -jay

I am so glad to see this here. I cannot begin to express what emotions this stirs inside. Thank you for this and for sharing it. We should never forget, it would be an even greater crime if we did. V!!

I looked at this when you posted it and meant to comment. ( Wanted to think about it and come back.) It's not a subject too easily ignored. Thank God your parents survived. And thank you for sharing your artistic tribute. We should never forget.

A remarkable tribute! Sadly, no matter how much awareness we have evil always lurks...
