Description

I decided to go back and totally redo my first attempt at HDRI lighting (radiosity wasn't even enabled, lol). I got a real HDR image off the internet from the Light Probe Image Gallery at http://www.debevec.org/Probes/ (thanks for those btw). However, I don't know why the shadows are... blocky. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks for viewing and comments welcome!

reflections look nice-if you want perfect floor shadows- add a compositing tag to your table object and click the gi accuracy box to 100%. you won't believe the difference..the render time will increase hugely, so do it overnight and wake up to a nice surprise!!- another tip- that looks like a black chrome type material-try turning off 'recieve gi' in the illumination settings of your material's attribute manager. will speed up the render big time. good luck!

Hey, thanks for the help! I am currently rendering the picture now with the compositing tag at 100%. Actually, its been rendering for the past 31 hours, and its still on the prepass, lol. It does look much better so far though, thanks again!
