Nice one, Dirk - love the graphic illustration quality and textures, as well as the interesting, harsh high noon lighting - washed out effect. While the title seems an oxymoron at first glance, it really isn't; I like this different perspective of the nature of clocks (even if as time machines they are generally thought of as irreversible). Interestingly, I once had an electronic wristwatch that - honest to God- ran backward, after I accidentally exposed it to a strong magnetic field!?!

Excellent lighting effect! Time sure is flying in this image Dirk! Ah, as the cog wheels of time fly quickly by they leave something behind, little flakes of memories that continue to chase each other until they too are forgotten. Nothing like a fantastic image to spark imaginative thought, Thank You!!! (=

Another fascinating piece. The explosion of numerals in the centre makes a great focal point. I love the strong shadows and soft greys.

I still have no comprehension of how you can do this but that aside I really like the composition and the lighting. The flying number marks coming out of the center and the precision of the gears are truly wonderful. I've been trying to figure out how this clock works but that is beyond me as well. Really interesting and excellent work!

the way you work with space is amazing - the structures of foreground and background - shadows and textures and then the explosions of bits of time - remarkable work

Time rise. Time fall. Time leaves you nothing, nothing at all words just words don't know words take you nowhere, nowhere to go --to go . . . back . . . I'm going back. . . . ooh. . . going back. ~Cat Stevens~ Nice (time) piece. :)...a strange day.
