Description
When frightened, churtles like to huddle together closely, hoping to be mistaken for piles of rocks, or shrubbery. This behavior is typical of both the rough-backed churtle and the common smooth-backed churtle. Ironically, huddling is not really necessary as the churtle has no known natural enemies.
