I noticed, as I came in just now, that there are several MM/fractal posts. To that I say.....YES!!!! It's time to take fractals to another level beyond the single flame or spiral image. I feel honored to be among those with the imagination, talent and courage to be free in their art. These pieces may not be the most popular within the community, but to my eye, they are the most promising....and the most beautiful.

Wonderful, and I agree on using art as a free creative expression and... wherever that takes you. That way the purists can be as pure as they desire and the mixed media creators can mix and match to their hearts content. This is very special and I would hope to make anything half so creative :)

I agree 100% with you on the freedom of expression! It doesn't matter what media one uses, art is still art to me. I know I've only stuck to single Apo flames so far, but that's only because I want to explore them more. This image is a prime example of why one shouldn't overlook mixed media images, it is simply a stunning piece of art! I love the way you use transparency and colors, and the design is highly atmospheric. There's a sense of peace and tranquility and also complexity to this one, top quality work!!
