Just do this for fun. I'm a doctor by trade but always love playing around on computers. I could never draw so I love the computer doing the drawing for me. BIOI'm 33 years old, and now recently married! My interests are RPG, computers, tennis, golf, world cup soccer, FOOTBALL (go UGA!!) and now Poser. Thanks for looking at my homepage and I hope you enjoy my renders. Also thanks to all the artists on my favorites, you are there because I do not want to miss one of your fantastic renders. Thanks.

Very nice work. You should use a higher resolution texture for the ground though.

I agree with Olivier. It's very nice, the pose is dynamic and the lighting atmospheric, but the pixelated background (particularly the floor) detracts a bit from the very detailed main figure. Keep it up :)

Nice, could probably get away with tiling the floor texture 2 or 3 times to help the blurring problem. And a grainy bump-map might be enough to break that wall on the right. Also.. (not trying to be a prick, rather to be helpful) Mouth looks a little funky (possible just optical illusion due to lighting/shadows).. eyes seem to be looking at his left arm? The whole pose while certainly dynamic seems a little extreme/unnatural and forced, not sure it's even physically possible to twist one's torso that much. I just tried to do it myself and it sure took a lot of strain to get even close, maybe I'm just an inflexible bum though ;] I think might look cool if the left arm was down at the side more, with the top of the mace maybe pointing forward/down like.. A power/intimidation pose like, right now it kind of looks like he's taking swings at an invisible enemy :) Also the light is very strong and white, a softer/weaker more yellow (flame) light might be more appropriate since going for a medieval look, the current seems like powerful modern electric light.. and maybe a bit 'o light on the back left as well since it seems a little too black at the moment.. perhaps even just some subtle gray-bluish moonlight would do.. Anyhow hope that didn't come off as overly harsh, I wouldn't waste my time typing this long comment just to bash someone's work. I did it 'cause I like it and just noticed some things that might be better. Keep it up

Excellent action scene !! Pose and light are Great !

Fantastic scene and Pose. The lights are perfect also. If you connect the displacement root node to the texture map and set displacement to about 0,013 for the back and floor it would be perfect.. ~Uwe

I actually like this one better than your later one of the same guy. The 2nd one has a too-bright hot spot on his face.
