Our intrepid little explorer from Earth, the Spirit rover, now well past it's expected life,.........just like the Energizer Bunny, keeps going and going. Rover model from Celestia, lighting is Zenith Hi-Res sunlight rig, postwork done in PS7. Thanks for your attention

Nice one, Tom! Did you make the model? Only criticism I have is the sky. Don't think it would be quite that blue. Most of Spirit's color pictures show a dusty somewhat tan sky; although, come to think of it, I may have heard somewhere that the sky can be blue or nearly so at times. Anyway, it is a great job.

Well past his life is an understatement, its like doing 100.000 km with a F1-car at max speed without a pitstop. And both are still going, and it looks like they will going for some time more, opportunity just finished photographing his own heatshield. www.jpl.nasa.gov for more, you can't beat real life.
