Description

This was my entry for CG Networks Space Opera, I never finished it in time, or made all the checkpoints etc. but thought I'd upload to my gallery away. I got stuck as to where it was giong, still not sure..Not my best, but I'm working on more SciFi... Textures are mine as is the simplistic city.. City lights are Bryce default mats... Thank you for visiting, hope you enjoy...=)

I really love the fractal/particle atmospheric effect. Reminds me of the effects done in the movie Solaris. Beautifuly done as usual!

Aye, the fraxx nebula-look is certainly interesting! Nice scene setup, it looks tedious...

Some people have a problem with picture that use default mats. but I say if it works so well, why bother going to the hassle of creating something not so good. I love this picture. The colours of the vortex are wonderful and the way and open piece seems so enclosed by the planets is unusual and interesting and very well executed. This is a great piece and well deserve a vote.
