Description
Sorry about the earlier smaller posts, i made two thumbnail pics and picked a thumbnail insted of the original. Now this is the first 3d image i made, it was for my advanced Auto CAD class, i have reposted it due to the fact that i had the wrong image in the wrong box above(sorry).please leave comments if there is something i need to do to it.

That's VERY good for a first go! Did you model all this yourself? GREAT start if you did! Just a few textures now...

yes everything on that image i created myself. I created the models in Auto CAD 2000, then imported them into 3d max 4 to do the space backdrop and the laser cannon fire, even though I want to fix the cannon fire to look more of a taperd look to them. and i ment to put more textures on it i ran out of time for the class, but i havent got to work on it yet.

Cool for your first model. A glow behind the Falcon from the engines would be cool, also the X-wing. Yeah, and some textures. Also... all of the ships look roughly the same size. I would reposition them so that some are closer to the camera to give it some structure as a composition. Maybe give the eye a path to follow from ship to ship, just to make it more interesting.

For a first go!, this is wonderfull...excellent, but right enough, the millenium falcon could do with a bit of texturing (I imagine you will be doing this soon) but yeah I can see it looking very good indeed, get the next version up and running :-) im dieing to see it
