Welcome to Dreamer's Wish Studios. I am Beth Carroll. Many of you know me as "Newpy". Years ago, a friend of mine suggested I visit Renderosity and I have been here ever since. I became interested in the many forms of art shown here and have come to know many fine artists. I have been blessed with many friendships. Some of them, I am sad to say are no longer with us for one reason or another. They and their artwork are greatly missed.
I work mainly with Fractals and Photography, but I also work with Poser. I have dabbled also with Terragen, Vue, and some mixed media.
I hope as you browse my gallery that you will be inspired to try some of these forms of art. I am always learning and I would love to hear your opinion. I would also like to thank my friends here at Renderosity for your friendships and encouragement. I have watched many of you grow in your artwork and I have been inspired. I am grateful for the many artists willing to give their input. I look forward to many more years here looking at marvelous works.

The tunic texture looks great, Beth! I'm sure Poser artists will like it! About the border, I would only take away those red lines behind the red round background... but that's just a thought! Anyway a great presentation! Brava!

Not bad for a third render, mine didn't look that good! My only critique is to tone down the lighting a bit to bring out her skin tone. :) Keep it up!

APPLAUSE! APPLAUSE! Poser is no walk in the park. I enjoy your warm colors, the camera light appearence to her face may be a bit high, softer lighting or textures may help. Keep exploring, I so do enjoy watching artist grow! (=

Very nice job! It's not easy to make textures and you're off to a good start. I'm glad my seam guide could help. :) You already know how to avoid a lot of beginner problems, such as harsh shadows and low focal length, so just have fun experimenting and you'll keep improving!

I dont know too much about poser, but I think you did a great job on giving the skin form and creating the 3-d illusion. I'm not sure if you were going for a particular look or not, but perhaps darken the eyes a little, although with any portrait, the eyes are the most difficult part to draw, light, render. Nicely done! =)
