Description

After two weeks of warm weather, we finally got snow, almost two feet in the last few days, and it has turned the Colorado landscape around our home into a winter wonderland. Top image was taken this morning from our top level solarium off the master bedroom. We awakened to find giant icicles hanging from our windows and the sunrise turning the mountains glorious shades of pink and gold. Middle image was taken yesterday, from my writing room, capturing frost on the window. Bottom image was taken a few days ago from our library window, capturing the view of the black beauty that is our neighbor. As you can imagine we are snapping photos like crazy, enjoying every moment of this incredible beauty and so happy we can share it with you. Photos taken with Olympus and Minolta digital cameras. Middle image is no post, top and bottom image have minor color adjustment and lighting done in Photoshop CS. Hope you enjoy.:o) Comments most welcome. Carol & LJ
