thank all of you for your comments on these flowers. and thank you Ladyhawk mentioning that they are a Lupin. i'm surprised that we have flowers blooming in the middle of our winter. the rains we've gotten are unprecedented in that we're up to 35 inches in only half the season when our average season is only 15 inches. frankly we are feeling waterlogged and the earth is starting to slip away which can be disconserting when you're a civil engineer and some of your projects are the ones slipping away. g

Super saturated image........ I have exactly a similar picture which I captured in the Hills of Himalayas...........and the lighting is very similar to this one. :O))
