Thanks to Magnatude for his constructive comments on my last post of this scene.
Did a bit of re-work and this is the result.

Yes, its a little more dispersed (the light) with the layering of shaders, Keep it up! even experiment more and you'll surprise yourself with some clever looking stuff. You know what would be kewl to see? this shot using volumetrics (with dimmer lighting). Another trick is also to use 1 or 2 colored lights(dulled/gray-blue/gray-yellow/gray-brown...) (infinite, very-low intensity, with shadow off) to backlight the shadows [my suggestion to WZRD's "dont be koi"] which helps in setting a little color in the air... and then reduce the overall direct (shadowing) lighting by around 20-50% (because the inf lights will compensate). Looking good John!

Very nice work! Must have taken a bit of time to render with all that shiny stuff. I agree wit Tony, the "feeling" or atmosphere is very comfortable and congenial, somehow. Very attractive work, with nice perspective and nice lighting.
