While doing pushups in front of the 1900 Storm memorial, Sgt. Teviino was disappointed that one of the cadets didn't know what the statue represented. So he proceeded (while we held the pushup possition) to assign us to write a one page single spaced report on the 1900 storm. I had to write it anyway, so here's it is. Galveston September 8th, 1900 Cadet Stephen Brewer #398 Galveston Police Department - 53rd Academy On September 7th, 1900, meteorologist Isaac Cline, a weatherman from Tennessee, forecasted fair weather for the following day. I know that story you told it right . You know your history. A lot of them was bury at sea. for the task to bury on land was too much. A lot of people did not wish to see they loved ones bury at sea but most did not have a choose. it was the law at that time.[just past for the 1900 storm]
