I saw these kinds of public housing blocks in Washington DC left ovder from the Great Society years before the cities teeetered on bankruptcy. They have all been pulled down now. Your picture is Eastern Europe to a tee. Russia is just beyond with more white housing units. The darkness gratifyingly is not the view of WW-II and the fierce battles in the snow. Inside is overcrowded with family units cramped into one apartment. The yelling!! The yelling!
