Like a window,

The Children,

Her world of him,

When I got divorced, many decades ago, a counselor told me that divorce was the "death of a family". The most traumatic event of my life. I can still see the effects on my now adult daughter, who was only three at the time, and feel constant guilt to this day. Very expressive and powerful work, I hope your friends find peace.

What a beautiful tribute! You know a few years back, I gained the strength it took to move on with my life as well, and today I am happily married to the most wonderful man in the world. I thank god for him every day, and even for the painful journey it took for me to find him. You always have a way of touching everyone that views your art! ;-)

Been there. Done this... twice. The healing process sucks for all involved. Yoou have done a wonderful job of capturing the emotion of a woman both sad and strong.

She will soon find out that she was stronger than she could ever think... that she worths more than any man could ever imagine and that when God closes a door, somewhere he opens a window.. and that from doors comes snakes but from windows.. butterflies! She will cry.. she will panic.. but she will stand and in the end... she will still smile with her dignity...

Thankfully I don't have any experience with divorce, but I have friends that have been through it and it's very painful for everyone envolved :o( This is a very touching render with alot of emotion. Excellent work! :o)

This picture does express what many feel during this time. I am a child of divorce several times over. It is not easy I will agree. It is hard for all involved. But I agree this woman will be stronger than she ever imagined and her daughter will make it through as well. Your friend is very lucky to have someone like you to care for her.
