Description

My Father, Anthony Rex Bellamy. Tony. Words cannot describe the love and respect I have for this gentleman. My Stepmother once said, "If my children's lives were ever in danger, Tony would be the one I would hope to be there for them." He is the most awesome person I have ever met; totally confident, self-reliant and about as good as you get. I love you, Daddy. Photo by me, taken with an Olympus E-300, totally unedited except for croppping and reduction.

Wonderful shot - looks like he's in prayer for the children he loves! Must be a happy guy with all the smile lines around his eyes. Thanks for sharing your sweet sentiment!

When I saw the title of your picture I thought it might be something like this. How wonderful! Not only is the picture very very nice in detail. But the sentiment it has shows so much character on your part and say so much about your dad. Just a guess, but does he have blue eyes? Thank you for sharing this I must say this is the nicest picture I have seen here. Your dad has a soft and loving face I have truly enjoyed being able to view and read this here.

wonderful tribute...U are right, words can not express the love u feel for someone and when i look at this gentleman i can imagine what u feel. He looks so selfless, kindly and wise. Very expressive and deep touching shot...One of the best photos i have seen here. U can be proud to have such a wonderful dad, and he because he has such a thanksful and lovingly son. Take care u both.

As someone who has lost his father a few years back, I love this living tribute to your father you have done. Methinks it would be difficult to tell who is prouder - the son of the father - or - the father of the son? VOTE.

My father died of cancer in 2002. I loved him so much and he is always in my heart. Your father should be as proud of you as you are of him. Great dedication!

Give him a hug whenever you can. I lost my dad about two years ago and could not even really mourn him because my mom was diagnosed with Mesothelioma and I had to be strong for her. For seven months I cared for her before her eventual death of that terrible cancer. She died on my father's birthday and exactly a week after my dad's younger brother also died almost to the hour that my mom did. They both lived with me for 20 years and in that time they became not only mother and father but wife and husband and son and daughter as well as best friends to me. All the more devastating having lost them in such a short time. The lesson is we walk on our journey of life with one foot dragging in the grave and can be gone from the eyes of those we love and who love us at any moment. So show those you claim to love, that love each and every day with real actions and expressions instead of just words, so they know how they are valued. You will both feel better for it.
