My wife bought me a camera when I promised to give up smoking! I havn't had a cigarette for 3 months now but I still miss them.BIOBirth = 1962
Status = married (I don't deserve her)
Job = teacher (mostly economics)
Residence = Switzerland (not one of the beautiful bits)
Hobbies = Books (she says we have no more space)
TV (she says I watch too much)
DVD (she says they are a mess)
Food (she says I must loose weight)
Photography (she says my pictures are no good) - sighs
SHE IS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME!

awesome shot, best in monochrome. Maybe the sky is a little to dark, in my opinion. Well done!

Exceptionally fine composition, I do believe that one could do a lot worse than equal Ansel's photographic quality. I for one will sorely miss your superb images as much as I miss Ansel's. Bravo, well done indeed! VOTE

Wonderful lighting and tones here.

I'm interested to see what you'll try next! This series has been beautiful, and Ansel Adams is a great photographer to emulate.
