Description

As she drove along the ever winding road, up then down then around and around ... roads carved by man and nature ....between mountains made of stone and rubble... she would find herself covered at times by large, dark shadows.... Had Gulliver indeed decided to take a Walkabout Santa Fe?????? If you have never been in amongst the mountains then come out upon the valleys or plains at such altitudes, it is hard to anticipate the enormous shadows clouds make on the land... and the winds cause them to sometimes creep slowly ... almost ooze over you ... or,conversely, race over you so swiftly as to seem like the foot-shadow of a giant... it did startle me at first!!! Took this image out the car window while drivng and chose to post exactly as taken... Thanks for looking!

It remimds me of the shots of the earth from outer space that we see in the news every now and then...with the curve of the earth...hey, look up at that cloud on the left middle distance, looks like a mouse on roller skates...Stewart Little! (lol)
