Description

Each soul endowed with breath seeks a treasure beyond gold, silver, platnum or precious jewels. From the cradle to the grave we long for a treasure that few ever truly find, the mysterious treasure of true Peace. A peace that passes all understanding, that can bring calm in the midst of the darkest storm of night. Have you found that treasure? This was my entry into the January Vue Challenge. I was delighted with how well it did. I had 5 votes and BGHart had 6 votes, so I came one vote short of a tie. That's the best I've done in the challenges. All the entries were fun and BGHart did an excellent piece. Congratulations :-) Vue 5 on a Mac; No postwork; There are nine light sources to make this work. The type is set in Vue 5 and used as a boolean difference with a cube to carve it out of the stone. Comments and suggestions always welcome.

I really loved the composition and plants in this one, and the text cut out turned out really well...and of course the lighting was the best part, It had my vote then and still does now, Well Done!

This one belongs on my wall with the EAGLE! It reminds me of a garden I once visited and wished I never had to leave--Real peace is rare in our world. The lighting and the surfaces are great!
