Description

Thanks for all your great comments on yesterday's image, Plumbago. I'm thrilled with all the feedback you left me. I have to thank DeviousMoose (Ken) for the inspiration to create this. I really liked his series of Winter Symmetry images and it made me wonder what photos I had taken that I could apply that technique to. I have some photos from a local FPL power substation that I want to make a series of, but have not gotten around to posting any yet. I saw the beautifully composed power tower images that Valentin posted so I knew I would have to take my time with them to do it right. However, one image struck me as a possibility for mirroring so I took it into Photoshop to play around with it, and the result of my play is what you see here. I'm reminded of the Master Control Program from the movie TRON, only in a more material format. Big CPU is watching you! I was going to write some clever back story to this but after reading tedz recent submissions, I think he has a lock on that corner of the creative market. ;o) You can see a larger version of this image at MY WEBSITE. Thanks as always for viewing and for your comments. I will be away this weekend so I won't be able to comment on any of your wonderful upload (sniff). Have a fun one!

DUDE! A tip of the antler! This is superb! Not only is this a stunning image- the symmetry is perfect, but I like the electric arcs (KPT or Eye Candy?). This is also an excellent subject mater to be doing this with (those areas of red add to it nicely)! Let's see more!!! (and as sson as it thaws out more up here......)

Ah so, very Japanese! By twisting here, turning there it reassembles into the Giant Trolley that ate Tokyo in the Dogzilla flicks. Bandai! (translation: great pic).
