Description

This is based on the Tierra files by Jaime Vives Piqueres, who implemented a Landscape of the Week project. I've modified the files slightly to better suit my own aesthetic tastes. This is basically more an experiment in outdoor lighting than anything else. Though it does use isosurface land and isosurface water. Isosurfaces are a type of object where the shape of the surface is defined by a mathematical function. Superior to height fields in many ways, though slower to render. I've always loved the great outdoors, the sea, and the mountains. This originally included a forest but I had to remove it to get this to render on my ancient 96 megabyte Pentium II machine.. Gotta upgrade one of these days.. :)
