Description

Same location as all the Tulips...just thought I'd give you all a break from the flower power! It looks peaceful and deserted, but I should have turned around and taken a photo of all the people walking up and down the bridge just behind me. As it was I had to wait for some people to move out of the frame lol. Re-coloured in Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.02. Thanks for all your comments =)

it's a very tranquil and beautiful image but i also find it exciting! i think it's the stone columns and the steps on the bridge. i'm really into textures and the stone in the foreground draws me in....and there i am, right in the middle of your image. makes me wanna sit between the columns and dangle my feet over the edge. this is a fun image that delights me!!! excellent photography!!! vote!

Very Nice. I've always liked stonework, it does photograph nicely. Beautiful image (and if this is the end of the tulips, thankyou for the images, but enough is enough! Hmm, that came out a bit harsh, didn't it? Sorry.)

I don't know how I missed this one. Shame on me. This duo-tone is perfect. I think had this picture been in colour, we would have been overwhelmed. This way we are concentrating on the archiecture and the shapes around. I also like the little cloud, it is if it wanted to lend ballance and an intrest to the viewer who might want to think what lies behind the trees. The stillness of the water and the lilypads off in the distance is something I would want to explore. Beautifully captured - a treasure. V

A place I still haven't visited in Perth, would love to go there someday. Maybe when I get back to Perth. Wonderful sweeping composition.

[hmmm...strange - I've missed it, too] that's perfect in many ways...I have to congratulate you for the point of view that is quite extraordinary; you don't need colours here - the colours comes from inside when you loose yourself for a minute or for a day...everything is so well done - my kind of photo that is impossible not to like...thank you, darling, for this little island of re-finding myself![goes to my fav]
